  At the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), I worked on a variety of projects ranging from the disciplinary panel to registry regulations. I wrote several research memorandums, and coordinated with the Victims and Witnesses Unit on one other project as well.

I helped to create an internal sheet to explain the updated version of the sex offender classifications under Ohio law.

  I worked primarily on one commercial case dealing with the winding up of a company and alleged breaches of fiduciary duty. I helped during discovery, I organized documents, I prepared motions and responses, and I met with the client alongside an attorney. The law firm is situated in Gaborone, Botswana, so, despite some basic similarities, I had to adapt to a different legal system and a different set of laws.   I was the program manager for a project titled the "TIP Report Global Heroes Network." I managed the website www.tipheroes.org. In that capacity, I wrote articles and blogs for TIPHeroes.org (several have also been published on www.endslaverynow.org), I produced and edited videos, I managed content, and I updated the website regularly. I also communicated with the TIP Report Heroes, ran a twitter account, and helped to connect the Heroes and to provide whatever assistance I could.

  I assisted refugees, undocumented immigrants, asylum seekers, and the general immigrant population with applying for various forms of immigration relief. I represented clients in front of the Cleveland Immigration Court, and I regularly filed applications with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. I worked specifically on helping people apply for asylum, helping people apply for permanent residency ("green cards") or naturalization, helping people apply for family members overseas, and helping people with other miscellaneous forms of immigration relief.   Along with several other colleagues, I draft and research various country guidance documents, eligibility documents, and related policy documents. I apply my knowledge of international refugee law to various situations and provide meticulously researched and polished products that, after clearance, are published as UNHCR official positions. I also determine COI needs in cooperation with the field and commission external COI products to meet those needs.
