  Owned and operated 2 large retail costcutter supermarkets, attracting over 5,000 customers daily. My job role ranged from operational control, to front line customer services. Built business growth over 25 % year on year, topping the £2m annual sales turnover. Three years in trading, I was presented with a buy out offer which I could not refuse. It was a great achievement, purchasing 2 run down stores which were on the verge of closure turning them into great profitable stores.   Granite Transformations franchisee partner for Swansea and Cardiff. My responsibilities range from overall daily operations to HR, accounts management, marketing and creating new leads. I have built a team of installation Fitters, sales/Demonstrators and customer services team. All have been trained to a excellent standard, which in return produces increased sales, increased customer satisfaction and increased referral work. I look to take 2017 as a positive year and really increase our marketing activity in wales. TV campaign will be more regular and prominent capturing specific house groups and ages ranges. We have a fabrication workshop, where we customise and manufacture all of our granite for customer order. My role is also to provide training, safety awareness, also ensure Health and safety controls are complied with. I am responsible for all commercial tenders and pricing, arrange meetings with architects, building contractors and designers. I set budgets for Finacial years and ensure these budgets are communicated across departments so, we can all work towards the same end goal. I'm also am a strong believer in team building and investing in staff, as our operation gets bigger and have more showrooms opening up over the next few years, having the right team and providing the appropriate training will truly embrace them to be ambassadors of our company.
