  -The Inspiration Consulting Summit introduces undergraduate students to careers in consulting. During the three day program, they will work with college peers from across the country; exploring and practicing the teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills that are considered foundational capabilities for consultants. Additionally, they will have an opportunity to interact with Hitachi Consulting leaders and employees to gain insight into the work performed by Hitachi Consulting consultants on real consulting projects. They will learn what it takes to counsel clients through challenging business issues, and get an insider’s look into how consultants generate effective business solutions and effect organization change.   U.S. Department of State (DOS) / Systems Integration Office (SIO) Private Cloud/Services Enhancement Project- Project management lead for two work streams: Services Enhancement and Private Cloud project- Conducted over 30 key stakeholder interviews within the organization to gather requirement information; coordinated and provided all logistics for the interviews, captured meeting minutes, action items, and followed up with interviewees to provide feedback - Created a database documentation tracker to support over 129 documents that were reviewed and analyzed to better understand the SIO’s methods and procedures- Major contributor to several deliverables including a Services Catalog and Enhanced Services Catalog which captured, described, and communicated enterprise level services provided by SIO to its current and future data center customers- Coordinated all documentation and scheduling based on the project management process guide, Managing State Projects for Information Technology (MSP-IT); developed several project plans, risk logs, overview presentations, cost estimate workbooks, and requirements traceability matrices detailing the exact timeline, scope, and risks of the Private Cloud project- Served as lead for the Offboarding team which transitioned all practitioners off of the account; including collection of badges and GFE, deleting accounts, revoking access to all facilities and removing practitioners from listservs- Facilitated the collaboration and communications for a team of five diverse practitioners Show less
