  A. Working on Construction Design Reports and Drawings of MP30 Gandhisagar PSP. The work include :1) Reviewing the design reports & related comments from the designer and owner consultant. The review includes detailed design of Intake & outlet Hydraulic design , Project access road design, Powerhouse excavation & Rock support system design, Nala diversion design, Tail race channel design, Headloss estimation, Cofferdam Seepage Analysis, Embankment Dam stability analysis & Seepage Analysis , etc.2) Managing the Design Reports, Drawings, and related comments between the Designer and Owner’s Consultant.B. Working on Detailed Project Report (DPR) of all the project mentioned above. Reviewing the comments of CWC on the DPR’s and making necessary changes as required. The work on the DPR’s is mentioned below :1) Developing DPR Drawings of project layout, longitudinal section, upper and lower reservoirs, and intake structures (G.A, L-Section & cross section).2) Extracting Streams, Stream Orders & Catchment areas in ARC-GIS for Hydraulic design and Flow modelling.3) Performing /Reviewing Transient Analysis of WCS for Turbine and Pumps (with check valves/ GPV) through modelling in Bentley Hammer.4) Fixation of elevations of WCS as per dynamic pressures obtained through transient analysis.5) Estimating Head loss through WCS of PSP for Generation and Pumping.6) Design of Intake structure, Trash rack sizing & Fixation of centreline of tunnel for pressure conduits.7)Estimating design flood (PMF, SPF, Q100, Q50 & Q25) using Hydro-Metrological method (Synthetic unit hydrograph approach) as per CWC classified Subzones. Frequency analysis for P100, P50 & P25 for a series of rainfall data.8) Hydraulic design of bottom outlet for reservoir evacuation purposes.9) Embankment Dam Freeboard , Area – Capacity for Reservoirs.10) Reviewing/Calculating Power Potential (PPS)/ Simulation studies for estimation of Annual Energy Generation and annual energy requirement for Pumping.
