About me

Let's start with the inception. So, when all my classmates decided to become actors, politicians or even a toothpaste for fancy dress competition in 5th standard. I wore my black robe, picked a file and delivered a dialogue, "Mere client ko Be-Fazool mein phasaya gaya hai". Judge passed the judgment in my favour but corrected me for using 'Be-Fazool'. Well some people thought that I was inspired by 'Damini' movie but in reality it was my maternal grandfather's case. Facts of the case are: My grandfather was deceived by a man who took his guarantee for a loan that he never repaid. Bank started the harassment and it came to the point where he was going to lose his job, house and property. He fought the case for more than 10 years. Finally, J&K High Court ruled in his favour and everything was restored. That was the moment, I met Law & Justice for the first time and instantly fell in love. Therefore, I decided to pursue Law as a profession not just for the sake of Litigation but to de-mystify complex laws and spread the awareness for the same. When others were researching the bare acts, I was searching for a medium that could create a layman understanding of laws. I decided to transfuse art and law. There were many challenges but I clinged to my basics that I learnt from 13 years of practice in Photography. So, I came up with a plan to exhibit law through the lens of creativity. A photograph capturing a small fisherman holding many fishes was used to show the concept of Joint liability. Steam coming out of a kettle at bus station depicted the awareness regarding Whistle Blower Protection Act. My work was published at Jammu University and then also studied at NALSAR University of Law. The positive feedback became my mentor who guided me to have a proper plan of action that could be scaled up. Interest in art and law, I will be there for you.
