      A season in two parts as a result of injury, I was tasked initially with a front of house role as head chalet host, managing a team of 4, ensuring guests accommodation and food exceeded their expectations, and resolving any issues. With a one month break including 8 days in a French hospital, and my previous role then filled, I took on a small chalet of my own, managing a budget, providing a cooked breakfast each morning, and 3 course meal every night for the 10 guests, in-between which I skied at least 5 hours per day, more successful at the second attempt with no hospital visits.       Primarily responsible for the the offshore observation and processing of 2D seismic data with a secondary role as an engineer, ensuring the recording system is working correctly and the collected data met the job specification.Within both of the aforementioned roles I was also heavily involved in the mobilisation of vessels and often daily deployment of equipment from the back deck in to the water. Liaising with the client regarding risk assessments, customer sign off and data logs was also a key part of my work.I was made redundant from this position as a result of the down-turn in oil exploration work. Additional responsibilities included to chalet maintenance, inventory management, in chalet drinks service, snow clearing, and most importantly, building rapport with guests often with the challenge of a language barrier.
