Responsibilities include: writing SIF annual reports, writing articles for national/international press, managing website content and development, managing and writing content for social media sites, development of SIF marketing and publicity strategy, assisting and supervising SIF's Education and Outreach Officer, overseeing the development of educational and outreach materials, participating in and organising outreach events, producing new and current promotional materials.   Working onward a small luxury cruise ship as part of a small expedition team I was responsible for developing and delivering educational presentations on ecology and conservation subjects for up to 110 guests. Ensuring that guests had the highest level of experience possible, I led groups of up to 20 guests in the field in a variety of locations and provided hands-on interpretation of the natural environment above and below water. I also drove the zodiac tenders in a variety of weather conditions and when leading zodiac cruises with guests also again provided in-situ interpretation of natural environment. Snorkel and SCUBA diving operations were carried out on this vessel for the guests and I was responsible for leading these activities in mainly remote locations. I had to ensure that the best possible diving and snorkelling experience was available whilst adhering to strict safety standards. Show less
