  I worked as a swim instructor as a part-time job while attending high school and University. I had many opportunities while I worked as a swim teacher, including training new swim instructors, first aid courses, team training, and courses relating to working with people that have disabilities. I thoroughly enjoyed working as a swim instructor as it provided me with the environment to improve my communication skills and work within a team.

  I worked as a retail sales assistant over the Christmas break. My roles included customer service, sales, organisation of the store, handling stock and cleaning. Overall this was a great working experience, I learnt important communication skills and how to work in a professional environment.

  Retail Assistant

  I worked as a retail assistant during the University summer break. My roles included serving customers, restocking the store, organising storage and cleaning. I enjoyed the environment of working retail where it was very fast-paced and their were always new challenges. This role also helped develop my communication skills with the other staff members and with serving the customers. Overall, it was a great learning experience as I picked up many new skills I hope to enforce in future employment.
