Submit all required reports to the Installation Management Command, 10th Mountain Division Command Group, Garrison and or DHR pertaining to In-processing Coordinate and communicate with all agencies Tracks all In-processing Soldiers’ progress towards in-processing completion through oversight of the Administration Cell Coordinate with the SGS and facilitate the Commanding General’s Welcome Brief; ensuring that the proper slides are presented, accountability is taken and report is given to the Commanding General or Command Group representative. The NCOIC will ultimately be the newly arriving Soldiers first impression of Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division Light Infantry. The example displayed by the NCOIC will be emulated by his/her staff and will be the first impression new Soldiers and their Families have of Fort Drum. Show less

      Training Resource Coordinator

      As a training resource coordinator responsible for analyzing, developing, coordinating, integrating, and implementing various training and readiness requirements and documentation (to include, but not limited to, mission, METL, on/off-post training, individual/collective/pre-deployment/re-integration training) for over 17,000 Soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division and supported units. Perform a full-range of technical lead duties including planning, coordinating, training, developing, performance- monitoring and counseling. Develop, brief; to obtain Command approval, and implement guidance on operations training and readiness to the division subordinate units. Establish contacts and coordinate with other division staff sections and directorates in order to ensure scope of actions, recommendations, policies, and procedures do not conflict. Schedule, collect data, and attend monthly Training Resource Coordination Meeting (TRCM) with division Deputy Commanding General (Operations), various staff Chiefs, and Garrison Directorates to de-conflict schedules and available training assets. Apply analytical and evaluative techniques to readily deal with a variety of issues or problem situations such as mobilization support and other special projects (training exercise support, etc.). Coordinate with DA, FORSCOM, 10th MTN DIV Senior Leaders, subordinate units and staff officers for information as needed to plan and support special projects. Provide input to and maintain the unit's long-range training calendar to maximize training and support requirements within the Division. Accurately forecast and plans training requirements in support of the Mission Essential Task List. Show less
