My articles have been nominated three times for the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award. I won the 2003 James Beard Award for Best Writing on Wines and Spirits. The multi-day festival takes place in Spring and includes a Grand Wine Tasting that attracts 1,000 wine lovers followed by an Interactive Dinner with a guest chef (past chefs include Daniel Boulud, Todd English, Marcus Samuelson, Michael Chiarelo and Ming Tsai among many others) and a Champagne Auction Brunch. Other wine and lifestyle events are staged throughout the year.

In other words, Champagne only comes from Champagne, and Port only comes from a select area of Portugal!
