  The Northwest region was co-founded under Warren Mui and David Cho. After seeing the potential of leadership and professional bonding from a national student leadership conference, it was sought to bring VSAs (Vietnamese Student Associations) in the Northwest region together to create its current organization as it is today. Once the roots were implemented, it was our job to facilitate and cater the next generation of leaders to bring the organization to new heights in order for the Vietnamese student community to realize its potential when they are together.   Worked as a graphics assistant, primarily working in Adobe Illustrator, to provide a digital library of vectorized maps of Rome from various time periods of famous cartographers. Using the Lanciani map as a foundation, I assisted in developing a framework that is controllable in order to help find potential discoveries within the various periods. Taking things further, I also helped envision a future mobile applications for smartphones and tablets that researchers and students studying Rome could use to access information regarding the past. This 12th annual conference will be held in Seattle, Washington over the course of 4 days full of workshops, shows, and networking opportunities.   I contributed to designing housing products in Research and Development for the multi-family housing sector. I participated in team and owner design collaboration to develop and test-fit prefabricated housing products. I produced working construction drawings to distribute to dependent project teams to execute in order to obtain building permits for construction. I created and applied template standards for housing unit bathrooms, kitchens, and casework in Revit. I managed internal teams to work on projects, using agile methodologies, in various phases of design using the Jira management tool. I developed work plans and road maps to ensure milestone deadlines were met while resolving any bottlenecks or root cause issues in order to assist team to proceed smoothly in their design processes. His team is responsible for creating brand style guides for internal and external business partners, onsite graphics that are localized across 20+ marketplaces, design templates, and physical graphics under Owned and Operated. David manages the end-to-end process to deliver a design system, operates and strives in ambiguity to formulate standardized procedures and playbooks, maintains each project's workback schedules and budgets, drives the tactical and strategic day-to-day planning, development, and collaboration with key stakeholders and business partners. To date, his program has delivered over 10,000 graphics supporting Amazon's busiest sales events. Show less Experience in project management in owning and tracking 15 retail projects in all phases of design and construction. I designed and launched a new store concept under ambiguous parameters while adhering to a strict construction schedule. I supported the launch of a new international organization to build the first Amazon 4-star in the United Kingdom. I worked with cross-functional stakeholders to create 11 program process documents to streamline the design process while increasing a designer’s span of control in order to scale. I authored 3 standard operating procedures to streamline the design and construction process between Store Designers, Pre-Construction and Construction Managers. I managed and assisted third-party Architects of Record through design and construction. I drove approval meetings with property landlords to negotiate the implementation of standard design intent with minimum compromises. I performed feasibility studies in a variety of conditions while abiding to store design standards. I collaborated with the Concepts team to establish written and graphic guidelines for Store Designers to frugally approach the existing conditions of store projects to mitigate construction costs. I worked with third-party vendors to investigate reduction in cost and manufacturing while proposing sustainable material finishes to reduce the organization’s embodied carbon footprint. Show less
