  Activities and Societies: Conducted research on segregation on continuously casted steels. Developed a simple mathematical model to relate process parameters to the amount of segregation in continuously casted steels thus improving the quality of steel slabs. Used optical microscopy and SEM to successfully characterize the steel samples and to find out grain and dendrite structures. Carried out line and area scan to find out the distribution of elements in the steel sample.

  Activities and Societies: Project 1: DESALINATION OF SALT WATER USING GRAPHENE OXIDE FILTER Synthesized a filter paper made of Graphene oxide from Graphite powder by Tour’s Process Fabricated a experimental filter kit for conducting the experiment. Demonstrated the Desalination experiment using the filter kit and got satisfactory results Project 2; PREDICTION OF VALVE LIFE IN REAL TIME IN OIL PIPELINES Developed a mathematical model for the erosion rate in a valve using real-time flowrate and pressure.
