  - Managed LFG operations, including 10 LFG technicians, across nine Waste Management landfills in Southern California and Hawaii. -Expert in Zink Ultra-Low Emission (ZULE) and traditional enclosed flare operations, and have significant experience in hydrogen sulfide (H2S) treatment system design and operation. -Designed gas collection and control systems (GCCS), 5-year and final closure build-out plans with respect to site LFG generation rates and operational fill sequence. During my time as Gas Operations Manager (GOM) the region improved surface emissions, probe compliance and other LFG operational metrics at all WM landfills in Southern California. -Facilitated and taught WM’s Landfill Gas Technician Program, and conducted numerous in-house training programs for WM employees. Having served as a Project Director for design, construction, and field services operations, Sol provides SCS with extensive landfill and landfill gas expertise, all with a focus on providing value to our clients.- Waste360 40 under 40 Award Winner in 2017 which recognizes inspiring and innovative professionals under the age of 40 whose work in waste, recycling and organics has made a significant contribution to the industry. - Confirmed as a Leachate and Liquids Management National Expert by SCS' Board of Directors and also was also a member of SCS' Strategic Initiatives Planning Committee. - Registered Professional Engineer in 10 states across the Western United States including Alaska and Hawaii. - Currently a Vice President, Mr. Sim also serves as a Regional Manager and Project Director responsible for SCS’ Western Region Field Services division which performs landfill gas engineering, construction and OM&M across the western United States.
