      Ski instructor

I was responsible for 8 children between the ages of 4 to 8 years old as a ski instructor. I prepare and plan daily activities to teach beginners the correct disciplines for down hill skiing. I educate and encourage the importance of mountain safety and effective cold weather practices. I teach a variety of technical methods so that each student reaches goals and is on their way to becoming successful, well-rounded skiers.

      May 2014 - Apr 2015
Assistant to general manager and mechanical operations

My first internship tested me in all areas. Both the operations manager and general manager gave me tasks that challenged my abilities with working/building relationships with customers to operating heavy machinery such as excavators, chairlifts, and groomers. I was successful with completing 280 hours through this internship and throughout my experience with the managers I was granted one of the limited paid positions during the regular season, on top of my internship hours.

      Nov 2014 - Apr 2015
      Ski instructor

Walking into work, I never knew what the day would entail. I could be guiding a couple of adults around the mountain's terrain or training a group of children the basic principles of skiing on the bunny slope. It was in my benefit to market additional lessons that go along with the purchase of a day voucher. Professionalism is expected at all times when on the clock and on the mountainside.
