Throughout the project I have engaged with internal stakeholders such as Production, Facilities, Train Presentation, Operations and Driver Grades and successfully negotiated agreeable solutions to unsafe practices and systems of work during the risk assessment process, ensuring more robust assessments through clear communication with interested parties.The project has enabled us to ensure Fleet compliance with Safety Management System ISO18001. I have also conducted site safety tours for visitors, contractors and new starters on a regular basis, ensuring all parties understand potential site hazards and the control measures in place to aid the daily operation of the depot, for example depot protection systems during rail vehicle movement.
