Deliveroo/UberEats launched months after us.-Worked with Rocket Internet (HelloFresh, Zalando, Delivery Hero) & scaled a three sided marketplace. --We pioneered the mass adoption of on-demand food delivery in Australia. Before foodora, typically only quick service & mediocre restaurants offered delivery as many were unwilling to sacrifice food quality. By cutting travel time to about 15 minutes, innovating in packaging & delivery methods we were able to change this & offer customers food from their favourite restaurants.Brisbane-Led launch & growth; Set up departmental processes, developed launch playbook, oversaw 1000+ orders a week, reported on city health metrics, managed a team of 7, 100+ drivers & 200 restaurants. -Optimised driver operations; Coordinated driver shift schedules, designed onboarding processes, minimised delivery issues, managed transition to automated dispatching.-Oversaw Product; Set restaurant positioning / online merchandising standards, QA testing.-Oversaw Promotions; Managed media partnerships, promotional activities, corporate events & key partnerships. They had a double sided supply issue, insufficient accessibly trained drivers & access to the right wheelchair accessible vehicle type.-Setup Carsharing; Established a shared fleet of wheelchair accessible vehicles which drivers without vehicles could book by the hour, 24 hours a day, via a mobile application.-Digitised Training; Created the industry's first digital training program for accessible service & wheelchair securement. I condensed an all-day in person course to a 1 hour online program & 15 minute in person test. -Ensured Compliance; They were facing a potential compliance issue as part of their operating license requirement was for their accessible services to be comparable in quality to their regular UberX offering.-Led Operations; Established processes to fuel driver growth, onboarding efficiency & vehicle utilisation, managed operations team & 150 drivers. Expanded the fleet from 6 to 45 vehicles within 6 months. -Oversaw Metrics; Set up & reported on weekly metrics including driver growth, revenue, onboardings & utilisation. -Managed Relationships; Managed Uber partnership, partnered with the leading accessible industry body (Spinal Cord Injury Ontario), accessibility consultants & local government.-Improved Business; Worked with product managers, finance & developers to improve the entire user experience & business case.-Produced Awareness Film; #SeeTheAbility to challenge the typical associations of people with mobility requirements.
