      My tasks as SQL DBA included activities related to SQL:- Database administration and performing of the common database maintenance tasks(Microsoft SQL Server version 2008/2008R2/2012/2014/2016/2019/Azure)- Designing and implementing MS SQL Server database environments (Stand-alone, Clustered and High Availability Solutions with Always On Availability Groups) - Capacity and users management- Database operations and solving current problems (Daily basis cooperation with Application Owners, Service Managers and Providers)- Database backup and recovery (Native SQL, Redgate, Commvault, DPM)- Database Health Checks (Analysis and solving disk, files, jobs, users, performance, configuration and security issues)- Data migrations, database upgrades and decommissions (Life cycle management and migrations from the SQL Servers and other DB Engines)- Performance optimization (Instance reconfiguration and troubleshooting, indexes creation)- Preparation of the reports and tests (Performance reports, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Disaster and Recovery plans, solutions and tests)- Business Intelligence (SSIS: package\project deployments and error handling, SSRS: reports deployment, user management and error handling)- Coordination of the changes with the different teams- maintaining almost 500 instances of SQL servers- working with variety of databases starting from small to ones over 12TB- Provided 24x7 on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team membersFrom 2020 I'm also SQL Capacity Coordinator for Achmea contract.
