  Software engineer in test

  While working at Bungie, I programmed multiple automated import patch test suites in C# and NUnit. The tests covered world artist and graphic designer use cases to verify functionality of the code changes that the team implements on internal tools. These tests are also used to gather import timing data on various types of video game content. As part of this implementation, I also developed executables in C# to set the computers running the tests into a clean state, which ensures reliable data is recorded. This involves force syncing content files in Perforce, removing cached data, and enabling dependent processes. To visualize the data, I implemented stored procedures in SQL and designed Tableau dashboards to analyze import times and cache hit rates based on the import patch tests, which included an automated report to alert users of the test status. I also took the initiative to design the UI of automated email test reports for all users at Bungie and at Vicarious Visions, who submit code through the suite of automated tests gating submission to the large code base. I met with key stakeholders to identify product requirements, and to iterate on the UI throughout the implementation. I created the graphic design and helped develop the front-end using XML/XSLT with a team at Vicarious Visions in New York. I also ran user research studies to gather feedback from users on the UX.
