Primary duties include the collection of proactive and past due balances across 17 branches within South Africa as well as analyse credit risk of approving new sales contracts and escalate for additional evaluation when needed. Together with functions that go hand in hand with management of the credit control department, the position also entails detailed statistical reporting, escalation and interface with the EXCO team. Daily operations include (but not limited to) resolution of customer queries, customer visits, addressing disputes, cash forecasting, staff management, telephonic collections, reviewing the daily age analysis and adhoc tasks and debtor specific reports.
