In this role I took customer inquiries, fielded calls and visitors to members of the local council, and carried out transactions for tickets, public travel, and other council related products. This position involved cash handling and immaculate customer service.As a venues assistant I was a member of the team involved in the practical running of both the council and the Neeld Arts Centre.   Duty Officer

  A very diverse role in a burgeoning and busy cultural centre programming live music, theatre, comedy, discussion, conventions, functions, and conferences. This position was split into two roles. During performances I was FOH manager, leading a team of up to 10 venues assistants to greet and assist guests, greet artists and clients and see to their comfort, liaise with the technical team to ensure a professional and enjoyable event. Outside of performances I acted as deputy to the facilities supervisor, this role involved the practical running of the venue, this included preparing rooms for events and liaising with clients on any practical matters and attending to requests, as well as the day-to-day maintenance of equipment and facilities, inventory checking and restocking, and working with the venue management to plan and organise upcoming events.http://neeld.co.uk/ Show less
