      Youth Market Director

During my tenure at the AHA, I worked on the American Heart Walk and other part time needs while completing my graduate degree in Community Health Education & Public Health from SUNY Brockport. As the Regional Youth Market Director, this full time position provided educational fundraising outreach to local schools for healthy heart and exercise messages. The Jump Rope for Heart & Hoops for Heart programs were conducted across the Finger Lakes 9 county region and with over 150 events, realized more than a $300,000 campaign annually. I was fortunate enough to also manage and cultivate the # 1 fundraising school in the nation for Jump Rope for Heart- French Road Elementary School in Brighton, NY. Under my care and attention they grew their event from $45,000 to over $75,000 annually! This program eventually breached $100,000 in one year. The mission of AHA continues to be close to me personally as I still have many people in my life that are affected by this disease and mission work. Show less
