      Graduated with a First Class Honours in Tourism Management Took advantage of many opportunities for volunteering such as; induction days, global guide and helping the lecturers and business school out whenever needed. Dissertation title: Investigating how Chinese natives percieve authenticity in ethnic tourism attractions in China, using the case study of Lijiang World Heritage Site.

      In my first semester I took classes in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management including; Hospitality Marketing, Resort Management and a practical hospitality class in a coffee shop on campus. Also alongside I got to choose classes that I found interesting and not necessary in my major, I took Psychology and a class in Global Planning Principals.In the university holidays I took the time to explore and travel around the USA including; New Orleans, Nashville, Boston, DC, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco.In my second semester I picked totally different classes that I thought I would really enjoy including; African History, Cultural Anthropology, Global Issues, Public Speaking and Media Studies. I really enjoyed this semester and worked hard to achieve a 3.7 GPA. Whilst studying at SUNY Plattsburgh I also did a a lot of socialising with many people from other cultures from around the world. At ITC I learned how to communicate with customers in a professional manner, I also communicated with many external companies arranging services for customers.       For the summer I worked at Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal as Certified Ellis & Associates Lifeguard. I enjoyed this job, however it had many responsibilities. Whilst being a lifeguard I was trained how to resue someone who is drowning alongside many first aid skills. Whilst being in the USA for my second time, I took the opportunity to take part in cultural activies and travel around the States.
