I was project manager (critical path design, research, budgeting, scheduling interviews) and office coordinator (liaison with stakeholders, equipment maintenance/rentals, scheduling, communication with Board of Directors). One specific role was as Casting Assistant for Kleinman Casting on Haunted Peak (release 2015) and Pixels (release 2015) at Pinewood Studios and on-location in Kingston and Toronto, Ontario. My pre-production and on-set duties consisted of communication and coordination via email telephone, and in-person at “Go See” casting sessions. I solidified my reputation as a diplomatic, resourceful and solution-driven negotiator to ensure background cast were camera ready, safe, fed and paid.
