      Working as part of the rural regeneration team at Bridgend county borough council I am delivering a welsh government local food growing initiative. Funded by the rural development programme for Wales the initiative is a pilot scheme and involves supporting communities to develop their own community growing areas and to grow their own food. The role involves working with groups to take over and manage their own land, connect with each other, share and learn new skills and eventually to develop food growing models which can be passed on to other groups.A very busy project with a lot of demand from the communities and lots of different food growing models.
