  Joined GlobalFoundries Singapore Fab 7 as an Etch Equipment Engineer.1) As an Module Equipment engineer, went through technical training on the wafer fabrication process covering overall process flow, soft skills training including effective communication in the workplace and presentation skills.2) As an Equipment Engineer supporting the backend (BEOL) etch equipment group, took up multiple tool ownerships of Lam 2300 Exelan Flex45 and Coronus / Coronus HP equipment fleets, made up of 44 chambers. Also maintain and support other tool types such as Lam 2300 Flex, Versys Metal, Metal HP and Applied Materials e-Producer.3) Responsible for key equipment indices such as overall equipment efficiency; continuous improvement projects; cost reduction projects.4) Worked on equipment startup activities, engaging with suppliers, facilities, and process engineer counterpart to smoothly release newly qualified production machines on schedule. Working closely with suppliers provided good learning opportunities to learn the equipment from the ground up.5) Improved productivity in terms of cost-per-move (CPM) of BEOL groups by qualifying alternate source process kit parts.
