      Overview of role:• As a Civil & Structural Engineer my responsibilities was to carry out calculation of designed concrete structures weight and required weight of rebars for reinforcement.       •As an Offshore Structural Engineer my duties was to carry out required assessment requested by Client and make sure all submitted reports have quality assurance as well as all assessed steel structures were within international standards. Below activities were also done by my side.•Modeling and Design Calculation of Fixed Jackets, Jack-up. •Performing of ultimate strength and reliability for checking model of loads. •Calculation of environmental impact on structures in SACS pro v8i.•Modeling of 3D Hull of vessel and inner structure by Finite Element in STAAD.pro SS6 and Sacs v8i 5.7•Seafastening design of steel structures and jacketTop side: •Creating Top side of platform in SACS/STAAD.pro and apply dead, live, wind load onto structure in order to check strength of topside and reaction forces which acting on connection point between jacket and topside.In place analysis: •Apply all service loads to platform in order to check jacket for stability. •Pile strength and soil capacity check•Determination of minimum required pile penetration length Pre-service analyses:•Launch analysis•Jacket Flotation and Upending Analysis:•Stability and upending analysis•Initial floating and on bottom positions provided.•Upending steps can include multiple commands.•Lifting with Dual hook capabilities•Buoyancy tanks designLifting Design:•Lifting point’s verification •Rigging design •Joint connection design (welded and bolted connections)•Transportation analysis on cargo barge of sea fastenings for different kind of structures.•To check barge deck during transportation phase. The software used for calculation finite elements such us, SACS, STAAD.pro and ANSYS.All of calculations were implemented according to units of below mentioned standards:- AISC, API, BS, 0030/ND, IMCA M 179, ND 0027, Russian register.       • Provides Off-Shore Structural engineering expertise within defined area of responsibility, which may include ensuring the correct selection, design, specification and construction, and operation of our offshore structures, helping to develop and implement maintenance programmes, troubleshooting operational problems, and/or designing and overseeing modification to offshore operating structural facilities.• Applies sound knowledge and skills to solve assigned engineering problems and projects, working with other disciplines, teams, subfunctions and contractors, including relevant operations and maintenance personnel in the field as required, to identify safe and competitive solutions to problems.• Develops and applies designated technical practices for controlling the quality/health/safety/environmental/commercial outcomes of new projects and existing process improvement initiatives.• Acts as coordinator or reviewer for Off-Shore Structural engineering related MoC, managing action closure and ensuring appropriate bp technical practices and relevant industry codes are adhered to when modifications are being made.• Supports efforts to ensure Off-Shore Structural engineering risks are understood, controlled and continuously reduced to deliver safe operating results, networking internally and sharing applied information and learnings.
