  Full Stack Developer

  Enspiral Dev Academy was a fast paced Full Stack Development bootcamp that gave me the knowledge and experience to work with a modern Full Stack development toolkit. It focused on solid JavaScript fundamentals as well as HTML and CSS. Building on top of that we worked a lot with React and Redux, and would do a lot of pair coding to develop these software engineering skills as well as develop collaboration. To cement the collaboration and team work skills we learned, we often worked on mini projects as teams of 4-5 developers working within a strict deadline. Here we utilized Agile methodologies and utilized collaborative development tools such as kanban boards, Git and Github. With all of our software development knowledge and team skills, this all culminated in a final group project where 4 or 5 developers including me worked together to build a Full Stack application using React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Git. We finally presented out application which was a language app for children to help teach the language and culture of the Larrakia people of Australia. This presentation was done remotely to an audience of our fellow developers as well as industry professionals all throughout New Zealand. Show less
