In addition, through a knowledge translation exercise, reached out to colleagues from six different health units to understand their design and process in reference to health promotion in schools. Implemented critical analysis skills to scrutinize past program plans and services. My recommendations primarily focused on advocating for school boards to jointly plan programs and services after a comprehensive health needs assessment. Additionally, my recommendations encourage heightened accountability and the implementation of health impact assessments for health promotion activities in schools. Show less
