  CodeNotes was a simple task tracker based on source code analysis. It started as a ClojureCup 2013 entry, me and my cofounder tried some time to push it, but it failed to achieve significant traction and was abandoned.

  Most of my internship was spent on implementation and validation of so-called bidimensional Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) for DNA methylation status calling. The gist of it: two noisy signals (results of DNA bisulfite sequencing) can be better decoded if we treat them as dependent, modelling them with a single HMM instead of a pair of HMMs. I've also participated in debugging, refactoring, optimization and parallelization of existing one-dimensional bayesian HMMs.

  I built and supported a homegrown Django-based system for an education program backed by Yandex and JetBrains. The goal was to provide a stable and handy system to manage education content, get notifications in time and allow grading of assignments. Delivered a useful, convenient product that would be a joy to use for students, teachers, and admin alike.
