  • Education

    • Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

      2018 - 2022
Bachelor of Science - BS Biochemistry/Biophysics
  • Experience

    • EpigenDx, Inc.

      May 2021 - Aug 2021
      Intern

Contributed to the next-generation sequencing process by performing bisulfite conversion of DNA according to GLP and site SOPs. Assembled gene sequence and methylation information using Ensembl, UCSC, and NCBI genome browsers to inform novel methylation assay design.

    • Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

      Sept 2021 - May 2022
      Undergraduate Researcher

Contributed to an Alzheimer’s disease research project by culturing primary microglial cells, performing phagocytosis assays with a fluorescence microscopy readout, and analyzing flow cytometry data.

    • Bicycle Therapeutics

      May 2022 - Aug 2024

Experienced with multiplex flow cytometry, including intracellular staining. Developed and optimized a twelve-plex flow cytometry assay acquired on a BD FACSymphony instrument to characterize the T cell immunophenotype post-Bicycle® molecule treatment.Enabled rapid advances in understanding of structure-activity relationships (SAR) for an early stage program by evaluating biological activity of development candidate molecules using cell-based assays. Presented experiment findings weekly at team meetings and quarterly at US science team meetings.Implemented a R script to automate analysis of dose-response relationships from a multiplex cytokine readout, which improved efficiency and minimized errors. Show less Supported on-time submission of an IND application through generation of quantitative flow cytometry data, creation of summary figures, and review of in vitro pharmacology data.Generated quantitative flow cytometry data characterizing human PBMCs that was incorporated into recommended phase II dose (RP2D) modeling for a clinical candidate.Trained a co-op student in the preparation of shared human PBMC stocks from whole blood, cell culture, quantitative flow cytometry using an Attune Nxt flow cytometer, authorship of electronic notebook entries, and data analysis using GraphPad Prism and FlowJo. Provided cell-based assay data for a development candidate and related Bicycle® molecules and authored descriptions of cell-based assay protocols to support drafting of a chemistry-focused manuscript.Presented quantitative flow cytometry and cell-based assay data in biweekly preclinical/translational team meetings and quarterly in US science team meetings.
