  Performed bat emergence surveys in rundown buildings at risk of demolition, to establish whether nesting bat populations were present and recommend mitigation strategies. Bat detectors were used, and the resulting audiograms were analysed to identify species. I helped prepare scientific reports which proposed appropriate action at each site. I used Microsoft Excel to log details, assembling large biological data sets.

Proficient in using bat detectors and spectrograms to analyse and identify various bat species. Cooperated in 4-man surveying teams to cover all sides of buildings.

  Working in the Customer Operations Department, I conduct consumption analysis for domestic electricity and gas supplies, advise customers on their energy queries, maintain the companies Feed-in tariff database, while promoting Good Energy's green principles. I have recently completed my Advanced Metering training and am now one of the leading specialists in the Disputes team. My work improves the efficiency of the supply switching process and ensures a smooth customer journey. Recently, I have been appointed for a voluntary position as a 'Green Champion', focused on maximising Good Energy's green credentials. My current project involves optimising company-wide carbon accounting analysis relating to the remote workforces heating, by eliminating assumptions and improving bi-annual staff surveys, in line with ISO 14001 standards.   Selected Project Experience: Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) Airbase Building and Energy Audit -Seb undertook an Energy and Building Survey for the Almondsbury Airbase which is occupied by GWAAC and the National Police Air Service (NPAS). Seb performed an energy audit of the building to identify areas to improve energy efficiency. Constraints were identified including boiler efficiency, simultaneous heating and cooling for adjacent rooms, significant heating losses within the spacious hangar and high energy base loads. Solutions included electrification of space heating, changing BMS settings and behavioural change.International Advanced Manufacturing Park Commercial Battery Plant 3 Sustainability Statement -Seb delivered a Sustainability Statement to support a planning application for IAMP Plant 3, a commercial EV battery manufacturing facility which constitutes part of IAMP, a nationally significant infrastructure project (NSIP). The report outlined multisectoral sustainability initiatives in line with local, regional and national policy.Rogerhill Solar Farm Climate Change EIA -Seb delivered a climate change environmental impact assessment as part of a planning application for a solar farm, with 100MW capacity and 100MW of BESS. The assessment followed best practice methodologies from IEMA and EIB. A WLCA was conducted and compared with the equivalent generation of electricity supplied from natural gas. The resilience of the proposed development to climate change and magnitude of effects were assessed and mitigation measures were identified.Rhymney Wind and Solar Farm, Convatec – Stakeholder Engagement for EMI Interference Seb has project managed and navigated stakeholder engagement with telecommunications operators regarding potential EMI to infrastructure from a proposed wind farm. Tasks: identification of potential sources for interference, regular contact with stakeholders and collation of responses to achieve planning permission. Show less
