      My responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the U.S. Federal Code of Regulation 216, USAID environmental procedures, and local environmental and social protection laws. I collaborate with Mission personnel and implementing partners to monitor and maintain environmental and social compliance in development activities.I also hold the role of Climate Integration Lead, where I advise the Mission on climate risk management processes for activities funded by USAID, ensuring appropriate measures are integrated to mitigate climate-related risks. As the Alternate Mission Disaster Relief Officer, I serve as a liaison between the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance and the Chief of Mission at the United States Embassy in Santo Domingo. This enables me to coordinate and execute US assistance in response to disaster events as requested by the Dominican Republic government. Furthermore, I hold the position of Alternate Mission Civil-Military Coordinator, facilitating collaboration between the US Department of Defense’s Southern Command, and USAID.
