      Investigated White Nose Syndrome (WNS) and conducted research on the physiological effects of WNS in little brown bats. Acknowledged in two papers for this research. Involved in a graduate student's disease ecology project and researched the potential for zoonotic spillover via parasite load in bats collected in South Sudan. Created an extensive bibliography on all of the literature published on the mammals of South Sudan.

      Coordinates multiple different collaborations in support of our COVID-19 diagnostics effort in the US and abroad as part of the Sentinel Project. The Sentinel Project is an end-to-end platform for preempting and responding to infectious disease pandemics, funded by the TED Audacious Prize and housed in the Sabeti Lab at the Broad Institute. The Sentinel team’s main focus is to develop novel diagnostic & genomic tools, novel algorithms, mobile applications, visualizations, and make them all available to researchers through our open-sourced analysis platform.
