Languages I grew up with a parent who spoke fluent French, and I owe my passion for language acquisition to my family. Hubbell '39 Book Prize and French Department Francophone Book Prize for excellence in French. I have lived and worked in Chantilly, France as a stagiaire for the Chateau de Chantilly, and I have lived and worked in Marseille, France as an English teaching assistant for a preschool and elementary school. In Canada, I have held multiple bilingual positions providing communication and translation services for Quebecois clients. Education 🎓I graduated from Mount Holyoke College magna cum laude with high honors, Phi Beta Kappa, with a B.A. in Art History and French. My Phi Beta Kappa award was for my senior thesis, in which I curated my own temporary and permanent art exhibition for the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum, and the Joseph Allen Skinner Museum.   As Coordinator North, I help coordinate the Abundant Intelligences Research Program, an ambitious, large-scale six-year research program exploring how to integrate Indigenous Knowledges and Artificial Intelligence systems. It is conducted by an international research team, co- directed by Prof. Jason Lewis at the Indigenous Futures Research Centre at Concordia University, Montreal, and Prof. Hemi Whaanga at Massey University in New Zealand. The research team currently consists of 48 co-investigators and collaborators at 13 universities/research institutes and 8 community-based organizations in Canada, the United States, and New Zealand.
