      Investigated molecular motors in mice genetic knockout studies to discover the roles of these motors in glioblastoma cell mitosis and cell motility. Conducted time lapse measurements of glioblastoma invasion using ex vivo brain slice assays and genetically engineered mouse models of glioblastoma in order to develop effective treatment options.Principal Investigator: Dr. Steven Rosenfeld, MD/PhD Investigated whether adipocyte-mesenchymal stem cells can therapeutically target stem cell populations in glioblastoma using Apoptin as an anti-glioma agent. Assessed the effects of Apoptin on patient-derived glioblastoma cell lines and biochemically engineered Apoptin to be secreted from mesenchymal stem cells.Principal Investigator: Dr. Alfredo Quinones-Hinojosa, MD
