  Ricardo Miguel Vasquez is a professional marimba musician who was diagnosed with autism at a young age. He plays a wide variety of music that will be familiar to people of all ages. Concert song selections are tailored to audience's age, venue, and season. Ricardo is very friendly and enjoys interacting with the audience. Ricardo's song repertoire includes but is not limited to Latin, Classical, Holiday, Irish, Children's music, Celebratory/Graduation, Lounge/Cocktail music, and is always evolving and expanding. Ricardo's music company, Vasquez Productions, is a family affair. His support team is comprised of his brothers, sisters, and mother. There is a master of Ceremonies who introduces each song if appropriate for the event. Ricardo travels with a sound system that includes speakers, microphones, and amplifiers. All of Ricardo's support team are able to answer questions regarding Ricardo's abilities and musical talent, as well as set up and take down the performance. Although his support team is often rotated based on family availability, every member is trained to handle each responsibilityThrough each performance, the audience will enjoy an opportunity to be educated about an individual who despite his disability, is an accomplished musician, very engaged with his audience, and is a true testament that anyone can achieve their dream through hard work and dedication.Performing Area: 13 by 13 feet, minimum.
