      I carried out all Administrative & Reception duties for the team consisting of Manager, Financial Mentor, Counsellors and Social Worker. I made room bookings, trained and orientated new staff, manage accounts payable, keep the Kai table stocked, organise events including running a money Kai & Me programme teaching how to prepare the Kai, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, data entry & respond to enquiries. I am also the Health & Safety officer and Site Manager.I met people face to face in reception some of whom had emotional and mental issues. They often needed Kai or just a chat to support them with matters relating to tamariki and whānau. I assessed the best outcome for them and connected them with the best suited professional.In my role I often dealt with vulnerable children, young people, families/ whānau and older people. I believe my empathetic attitude, resilience, critical thinking, listening skills, confidentiality and problem-solving skills played a large part in my success in this role. Unfortunately, due to lack of Government funding, Papamoa Family Services closed on 18 September 2023. Hence, I am seeking employment. Show less
