  Contracted to provide ethnographic study on the experience of Latinos at financial institutions in Virginia. Collected data via survey, conversations, video recording, and other participant observation methods. Statistical analysis was provided from survey results and all material was included in a report with recommendation for how financial institutions might recover Spanish speaking consumers and increase deposits/financial product sales in local areas.

  Performed field testing of the PALs early literacy exam in Spanish to various groups of Spanish speaking students across the country with locations in Charlottesville, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Raleigh, Manassas and Lynchburg. Collected and archived data for analysis of exam effectiveness and for the purpose of making necesarry modifications to improve effectiveness.

  Purchased, remodeled and revitalized a 35yr old Day Spa located in Charlottesville VA in preparation for a flip.   Conducted research on a sample set of principal donors who had given more than $1,000,000 during the course of a $3 billion fundraising campaign. Results demonstrated a relationship between principal gift frequency and development officer activities with the same donors over time. Resulted in an academic article demonstrating the importance of human relations in the development cycle, and the use of metrics in the prediction of giving over time.
