I brought stability to a Finance team suffering from high staff turnover in a pressurised environment and increased efficiency through improved systems by re-engineering existing processes.

I transformed the management reporting, providing detailed performance analysis. This greatly assisted the directors in making tough decisions following the banking crash in 2008.

We operate across the UK, with offices in London and Edinburgh and in Europe, with a Frankfurt office. The Group included an Installation/Logisics and a Healthcare Furniture supplier. I was responsible for all financial aspects within the Tsunami Group and associated companies. I led on commercial decisions and contact negotiations, created business plans. I negotiated with most major construction firms and many high profile organisations, including Bloomberg and the FCA. Internationally, I dealt with clients in Europe and as far afield as Azerbaijan an Ghana. I managed a team of 9 with direct reports in HR and IT. I was instrumental in improving profitability and cash flow, allowing for exponential growth in turnover and diversification. I led and managed the UK Finance team and was a member of the senior management team. I recruited a largely new finance team, bringing much needed stability an improving output and efficiency.
