Worked on the Pretend and Play category for kids between the age of 3-7. Started with intense research about the categories such as building blocks, pretend and play so on and finding the gaps in their toy innovation. Initially had given two design options. The first design option was inclined more towards creating a push on toy as well as a playset which opens up when not using as a push on toy. In the second design option ideated on innovative ideas to design a multi functional option for performing activities on dual playsets ( Kitchen and Doctor set ), with apt storage in the toy itself also making it compact for the kid to carry his/her own playset like a suitcase. The second design option was finalized and is currently under the manufacturing stage. At the end stage of internship ideated with the design team on the company requirements of having their own characteristic of building blocks to improve the play experience of kids suiting the Indian market. Oct 2021 - Dec 2021
      Product Designer

I got the opportunity to work at the research and the incubation center of IIT Gandhinagar in a startup named Havi. They are into making playful toys with a value addition of Robotics to it. Tech and Design is something which motivated me to go for it. This internship was for about 2 months. I myself had the impression that robotics is only for the cool technology guys studying at IIT, but no it actually is for all ages ! I innovated a lot of mini projects using different circuits and prototyped with a ton of eco friendly materials which would also be available at home. I coordinated and conducted a lot of workshops with smile foundation , astha foundation spreading the robotics knowledge and how it can be pursued as a career to all the underprivileged children. This internship changed my perspective to look at design. Frankly I enjoyed it so much that I took this company as sponsor for my Graduation project. Show less

      Product Designer

In my Graduation project I redesigned a Robotic vehicle with MDF material and used rubber band as a locking mechanism. It took me around 6 months to get to the final outcome which involved a physical product , the packaging and the visual effects on the box to even a whole suited guide for them. It was a rigorous process, the journey from the start to the end outcome was very satisfying. The usability test was done multiple number of times before it went for sale on the Havi website as well as on Amazon as their best selling product which is now shipped across the world. Show less

It is no surprise that a regenerative way of life resembles a traditional one to some extent, the way people lived for millennia before the modern age. This lamp design will urge people to not fall trap to a degenerative habit. Instead of opening netflix, open a good novel. Overcoming that initial resistance and changing that inertia is the hardest step, and requires meta-cognitive insight into your own personal character and choice. Why sacrifice that sense of peace and accomplishment for fleeting moments of buzz, chatter, and slander? Now more than ever, the advent of this design, has the potential to transform individual choices without using high end technologies. It is time to focus on the solutions which we know exist or have the potential to be developed and this is where technology, along with behavioral change, can help us reboot our health as well as the planet’s. Real-life interactions are dulled when a person feels the urge to check their phone, and the distraction a phone affords one partner makes the other person feel rejected. Even those late nights tapping away at our smartphones is more detrimental to our health than we would expect. Also, in a chaotic information overloaded environment, reading a book while tucked up in your bed is something which is no less than meditation! It lets you concentrate and lets you derive that divine intellectual pleasure which nothing else can give. Enhance takes away your phone and urges you to grab the book that has been tucked away in the nightstand. This design and the technology will have a positive impact not only on the environment but also on the social and cultural values of it’s users. Show less
