Our group received praise from both our client and our professor for an outstanding report. For my major’s project our group worked closely with members of the Keppoch Action Group to develop a five year business plan for an outdoor destination in Antigonish, N.S. The primary attraction during the summer is a developed mountain bike park; during the winter the mountain hosts cross-country skiers. The business plan includes everything from financial forecasts to market analysis. The Keppoch Action Group integrated many of our recommendations into their business model and has subsequently received over $140,000 in the form of government grants and local contributions.
