      Back in 1997 JB&B Advertising was one of the hottest creative agencies in Perth. I started my career as an accounts clerk, then working in creative services as a typographer, a stint in account service before settling in media. Back then a media assistant typed media schedules, booked media and managed media traffic reports and dispatch of media material to TV, radio and press publishers.

I headed the production department of Perth and assisted with the development of Melbourne and New Zealand production systems. In the 10 years working at The Brand Agency along with then-colleague John Ferrari, I developed the concept, wrote and delivered 'Toolbox' - an ICT workflow tool fully integrating all areas of the business in the development of Bunnings catalogue production. As an extension to this tool, The Brand Agency was also one of the first agencies in Australia to develop a fully integrated pdf workflow system, delivering the benefits of an in-house proofing and computer-to-plate production system for The Brand Agency clients.This system enable the agency to increase advertising production 3 fold without increasing staff numbers.
