      Working to continually improve the existing network and develop new business solutions within the Gist primary network. Using innovative solution design and strategic decision making to impact upon short, medium and long-term of Gist business as part of the everyday review, assessment and implementation of changes to our network. Building relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally from Business Directors to FLMs in depots to ensure network reviews are undertaken using existing SLAs and customer performance, then challenging the commercial team to drive change as the business requires. Working on strategic improvement projects to develop areas such as network primary DOT and equipment planning, reviewing everything from our network planning centre through to final depot execution. Working across and assisting the execution of plans for all our primary contracts and secondary depots. Accomplished by engaging operational teams within RDCs, establishing tracking profiles, communicating and escalating with external customers/ suppliers and influencing internal change to ensure our network is proactive and not reactive to customer service issues. I was responsible for the plan and roll-out implementation of voice picking across the ambient chambers with zero negative consequences from the customers viewpoint. Within the cold-chain, the mechanisation project was in construction which resulted in extreme constraints on working capability in an ever changing environment.Ambient, cold-chain and frozen operation across intake, breaking down, picking and outloading to customer stores across the North West and also to Eire.Worked with immovable deadlines and constraints with export loads.Managing the operation of a central depot within our network, cross-docking multiple pallets daily for numerous suppliers through the trunking network to the correct end depot destination.
