I'm the Mead Fellow and Director of Studies in Economics at Emmanuel College. I supervise various economics papers on Macroeconomics and Development Economics. I am also the BAME adviser at the college, which helps increase understanding and awareness within the college community. I directed the Policy Analysis Exercise (PAE) for the MPhil in Public Policy programme. The PAE is a unique policy simulation project that aims to address existing policy issues for international development agencies. This programme is a compulsory module for MPP students. Lecturer and examiner of the Development Economics papers at the Faculty of Economics: Part IIA Development Theory and Applications; Part IIB The Microeconomics of Economic Development Postdoctoral Research Associate for the Wealth Economy (WE) project at the Bennett Institute for Public Policy. The project, led by Professor Diane Coyle and funded by LetterOne, is exploring the conceptualisation and measurement of ‘missing capitals’. My work considers the role of human capital and its interactions with social and natural capital. I worked as a predoctoral research assistant for the WE project on a part-time basis between January and December 2019.
