  Working at this velocity startup provided a very insightful experience into the programming industry. The first week entirely was spent on learning how to program with HTML, CSS, and jQuery so that I could make effective and engaging webpages. Later on, I was able to play around with jPlayer and understand how it logged different outputs in the console, and how I could utilize them to enhance the video player.

  At GHD, my job involved working on the system designs and analyzing the sizing requirements for the needed equipment. I analyzed various types of facilities ranging from industrial production plants, bio-waste processing plants, and wastewater treatment systems. I was also involved in introducing a new technology (Organic Rankine Cycle) into the Canadian market, and developed a best practices report.

  At Kilmarnock, I was tasked with the coordination of projects between the multiple job sites and two company offices. I developed a scheduling system to provide greater tracking of the company workforce. As I took more responsibility in my position, I was tasked with performing NCR's on problematic products and processes. I also assisted with the implementation of a new ERP system in the company to improve performance metrics and reduce waste.

  At Syncrude, my job consisted of using Mechanical Engineering principles to extend and improve the shovel carbodies' life by developing a 10 year integrated equipment strategy for the company. Furthermore, I lead an investigation to determine and mitigate the causes for cracking in the haul trucks used on site.

  At Dienamic, our goal was to develop a machine that could be used to rapidly prototype and test sheet metal designs. A pinboard style design was created by the team where each individual pin could be actuated to create a surface contour useful for stamping. A changeable mold allows the users to save on mold material and labor cost along with the extreme amounts of time required to create it. Currently, a prototype of the machine has been developed and tested.

  With UWAFT, I was involved in transitioning a 2019 gas powered Chevy blazer into a hybrid vehicle by removing and installing the necessary components. I was tasked with creating an integration plan to incorporate these components while also developing a BOM for the team.
