  Managed the repair and alteration division of a wholesale leather manufacturer. Devised and implemented a system to receive, estimate, and repair garments, reducing costs by 65%. Drew and reworked patterns, stitched rush orders and samples.

  Designed, implemented, and operated a purchasing system that supported forty employees.Created, coordinated, organized a repair and tracking system for custom laser equipment staged throughout the world. Coordinated two engineers and twenty field operators. Supervised three repair technicians.Budget development, company representative/crew member on shows throughout the United States,support for internal tracking of products, documentation, shipping, and financial accounting.

  While studying painting and drawing, learning about color, space and design, I made custom leather clothes in the West Village in NYC. Arriving in Portland 25 years ago, I became accustomed to the cold, wet weather in the city and in Oregon's wilderness. Fleece became my go-to fabric. With its deep, rich colors and versatility, I designed a neck/head band to be worn on a hike as well as around town. I decided to give my customers of Bondi Garden & Design a heather green neckwarmer as a gift. My customers responded by asking for more colors—and the journey to Many Weathers began. Show less
