Aerial Manipulator: Researched on design and integration of a manipulator arm on an unmanned aerial vehicle. Implemented a modular software architecture to control an aerial manipulator with ROS communication framework. Worked extensively with MoveIt! for path planning of manipulator and Gazebo for dynamic simulation. Conference paper presented on this research at SciTech 2018, Kissimmee, FL.Self-Driving Behaviors: The goal of this project was to develop a full vehicle state estimator and then extract useful scene information to allow self-driving cars to safely and reliably traverse their environment. Worked with algorithms that identify bounding boxes for objects in the scene and used the output of semantic segmentation neural networks to implement drivable space estimation, lane estimation and obstacle avoidance using data from CARLA simulator.
