      Working within the commissioning finance team my current main responsibilities include the monitoring of core Primary Care with a focus on Prescribing along with prior and continuing experience of monitoring the Acute provider contract finances and activity. Developing monitoring reports to analyse the data to forecast to full year position as well as against prior year and plan, provide an automatic accrual formula for activity, monthly reconciliation to internal reports and contracts. Liaising with providers at contract meetings, negotiation meetings and querying invoices/activity.Recently taken the lead on redeveloping the Finance scoring system for use in Procurements with a tight turnaround I managed to implement a new scoring matrix, update the Financial Model Template and provide a handbook to assist potential providers in the completion of the FMT.I attend regular monthly internal meetings with budget holders, directors and SROs.I currently line manage 2 members of staff at band 5 level.Assisting in achieving Future Focused Finance level 1+2 accreditations, HFMA FSD lead, responsible for actively promoting the training courses and e-learning modules, encouraging participation across the organisation, booking training courses and e-learning for colleagues, facilitating the annual renewal of membership with the Director of Finance, sitting on the initial team to develop a new system Finance newsletter.
