      Jun 1998 - Jul 2003

      Transferred from Syracuse to xpedx in Los Angeles and began as an Account Manager; was promoted within a few months to the role of Sales Supervisor, then Manager. Trained and coordinated a diverse, 20-person staff comprised of employees formerly from other companies that had been merged into xpedx. Supervised monthly sales of $5M. Customers included Lexus (supplied all paper for all Lexus leave behinds) and hundreds of other customers based in Los Angeles. Advanced through a company rotational program (warehouse, transportation/distribution, purchasing, finance and customer service) prior to assuming Account Manager role. Transferred from Rochester to the Syracuse office within a year. At peak managed 50 accounts, from corporate businesses to small print shops, in sales of all types of paper as well as industrial products (hand soap, paper towels, etc.).
