Combined conventional survey methods with an ethnoscientific approach that allowed close integration with other natural resource and socioeconomic aspects of the master plan. Wrote contractual requirements for the requests for tender and for the implementing contractors to assure public health and protection of the environment in the affected communities. The engineering and administrative requirements included governmental and private sector responsibilities for the monitoring and surveillance of occupational injuries, vector borne and communicable diseases.
